Modesto Junior College in California told a student that he could not pass out copies of the United States Constitution outside the student center on September 17, 2013—Constitution Day. Captured on video, college police and administrators demanded that Robert Van Tuinen stop passing out Constitution pamphlets and told him that he would only be allowed to pass them out in the college's tiny free speech zone, and only after scheduling it several days or weeks ahead of time.

On the subject of free speech at a public school:

Tinker v. Des Moines Independent Community School District - "To prevail, school officials must demonstrate that the speech would provoke “substantial disruption” of school activities or invade the rights of others"
Meanwhile, if you have questions about 9/11, you may be a terrorist:

The FBI is instructing local police departments and "communities against terrorism" to consider anyone who harbors "conspiracy theories" about 9/11 to be a potential terrorist, in a circular released to local police departments.
The memo thus adds 9/11-official-story skeptics to a growing list of targets described by federal law enforcement to be security threats, such as those who express "libertarian philosophies," "Second Amendment-oriented views," interest in "self-sufficiency," "fears of Big Brother or big government," and "Declarations of Constitutional rights and civil liberties."

Here's the John Whitehead article we spoke about on today's show that you should consider getting re-published in your local papers:
Excerpt:
Here’s a recipe for disaster: Take a young man (or woman), raise him on a diet of violence, hype him up on the power of the gun in his holster and the superiority of his uniform, render him woefully ignorant of how to handle a situation without resorting to violence, train him well in military tactics but allow him to be illiterate about the Constitution, and never stress to him that he is to be a peacemaker and a peace-keeper, respectful of and subservient to the taxpayers, who are in fact his masters and employers.

What is an informant? Who is an informant on the birth certificate?
Why does the birth certificate not just refer to the individual signing the birth certificate as the mother or father? Why does the birth certificate refer to that person signing as an informant? What is an informant?
Here's links to a couple of the birth records/certificates data from Massachusetts and Oregon that we read aloud portions of on the show:
http://www.mass.gov/eohhs/docs/dph/vital-records/news-dec03supp.pdf
http://public.health.oregon.gov/BirthDeathCertificates/RegisterVitalReco...
Excerpts: The federal government has enacted a law called the “Family Support Act of 1988”. This law requires each state to obtain the social security numbers from parent(s) in the birth registration process. It also requires the parent(s) to provide this information. This new federal law became effective with births that occur after
October 1, 1990.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE
OREGON BIRTH CERTIFICATE
Type or print all information in permanent black or dark blue ink. All
of the items on the birth certificate are required and should be collected
from the mother or other informant. If, due to unusual circumstances, some
items are unknown, contact the Center for Health Statistics Registration
Unit for information and guidance.
A copy of the original birth certificate should never be given to the
parent(s) for any reason. If this has been your practice, you must stop
immediately.
Tim from Illinois calls in and explains that when he signed a birth certificate for his child, it was "optional" and subsequently the birth certificate will be completed and filed regardless of the parents' wishes.
What is the definition of informant?
From Bouvier's Law Dictionary - Informer. A person who informs or prefers an accusation against another, whom he suspects of the violation of some penal statute.
